Prior to joining Midwest Strategy Group, Meghann served as the Legislative Aide to the Michigan House Tax Policy Chairman.  In this position, Meghann tracked legislation, attended various hearings, and developed and managed coalitions in an effort to pass sound public policy.  Meghann also assisted in constituent relations by working with various government departments to resolve citizen issues and concerns.    

Before her experience in the Michigan House of Representatives, Meghann worked in the Michigan State Senate where she interacted with the Senate Transportation Committee and gained experience in policy issues relating to tax, commerce, and judiciary.  While in the Senate, Meghann experienced the inner workings of a successful campaign, including direct voter contact, fundraising efforts, and event planning. 

Meghann received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Michigan State University (MSU).  While studying at MSU, she served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Communication Department developing and analyzing data related to voting in a gubernatorial election.

Meghann remains a volunteer for many fundraising organizations through Michigan State University including Relay 4 Life, Juvenile Arthritis Foundation, and the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan.
